Rope Shoulder Stretch
Front
Back
This anterior (front) shoulder stretch is and easy way to increase external rotation in shoulder. Using a rope attachment for a cable crossover (or a towel), grasp one end overhead and the other end behind back. Slowly pull hand behind back up the opposite side shoulder blade. When at a comfortable stretch, pull rope from overhead to over the shoulder (this will allow you to relax into stretch and hold longer.)
