Lateral D.B. Raise



Lateral Raises are for the medial (side) deltoid muscles of the shoudler. The motion starts with d.b.'s at side of hips, arms straight and palms facing in. Raise the weights to straight out from shoudler, parallel to the ground. Take care to keep the shoulder, elbow and wrist all in alignment throughout the lift as bending the elbow can strain the rotator cuff.
