Partial Squats



I use partial motions in the squat exercise to build power by getting the body and the nervous system familiar with weights in excess of typical max. I highly recommend using a squat cage when doing this exercise and rack height of spotter bars should be set at approximately 1/2 the depth of lifter's full squat. Take care to use good form by keeping elbows pointed down, chest up, hips back, and a wider than shoulder width stance with knees and toes angled slightly outward.
