Treadmill Lunges

Treadmill lunges can be done intermittently throughout your cardio routine to add anaerobic exercise during your aerobic routine. In this example, the treadmill was set to a speed of (1) mph and walking lunges were timed with the belt speed. As front foot reaches the top of the treadmill's belt, both knees should immediately drop into a lunge and form (2) 90 degree angles. Next, lead the same motion with the back foot. Take care to develop thorough proficiency in the walking lunge before attempting this exercise as timing is crucial.
