Legs

Single Foot Hamstring Bridge on Medicine Ball

This exercise is a unilateral hip extension on an unstable surface. By using one side at a time, we increase demand for stabilization from the glute and outer hip muscles as well as the hamstring itself. Also, raising the hip straight up using only one leg requires all 3 hamstring muscles to fire evenly (many people are tighter or stronger on one side of their leg which leads to muscular imbalances).
