Suspended Push Ups on S.B.



Suspended training has become more and more popular since the release of the TRX. Using your bodyweight on a relatively unstable surface, fires more muscles in the motion (by recruiting smaller stabilizer muscles to help with the major muscle groups). This particular exercise takes it to another level. By adding the stability ball to the lower body, we force the core to do much more work. Now we make the typical push up exercise (which typically just builds shoulders, arms and chest) and turn it into a full body exercise demanding much more core stabilization from the abs, lower back, and hip flexors too.
