Standing S.B Cable Woodchop



This highly advanced exercise should not be attempted without thorough proficiency in standing and squatting on top of the stability ball. The exercise will prioritize the deep abdominal wall, the obliques, as well as hip and ankle stabilizers. The starting position is standing on ball with knees soft, back arched and abs drawn in, under cable crossover with ball positioned at arms length from top pulley. The side your are pulling the handle towards will be the bottom hand on the handle. Outside arm should be kept straight while the arm closest to the pulley should be held elbow up. Pull handle across body and finish with arms straight and handle outside of torso. video
