Cable Saxon Bend

The cable Saxon Bend is a great way to hit the oblique and lower back muscles evenly while maintaining balance and posture. This also a good exercise for targeting serratus tie in's to the shoulder blades. Start with a rope attached to the upper pulley in the cable crossover. Next, hold rope (hands approximately 8" apart) centered over your head. Then, bend away trying not to lean into the motion and maintain center point of rope over your head. This exercise is more challenging than it looks, but with practice, will be sure to strengthen your core.
