Lying Cable Flyes
Back
Front
Lying cable flyes are similar to d.b. flyes except the resistance pulls from outside the hands instead of straight down like when holding dumbbells. This motion makes an excellent shaping exercise for between the middle of the pecs especially when paused at top with arms straight. Start exercise lying on flat bench in the middle of a cable crossover with shoulders lined up between low cable pulleys in machine. Hold handle attachments over the top of your chest with arms straight and slowly lower to outside your chest while allowing elbows to bend slightly.
