Inclined Push Up



By doing push ups on an elevated surface you can build strength in the chest, shoulders and triceps and learn proper form in the standard military style push up. Also, there is far more core activation when the body is straight than compared to doing push ups with knees on floor. As strength increases, lower surface height of bar you are using with the eventual goal to be doing this exercise on the floor. Make sure to keep head, shoulders, hips and heels in a straight line throughout motion and lower bottom of chest between palms.
