Assisted Pull Up



This machine is a great way to build strength in the pull up motions. Because you are pulling your body to the bar, it more closely resembles the true pull up motion than a lat pulldown. Set assistance such that you can complete all reps without having to round your upper back and shoulders during the motion. You should be able to keep chin and chest up, pull straight down on elbows and pinch shoulders at the top of the motion.
