D.B. Hammer Curls (kneeling on s.b.)

For clients proficient in kneeling on the stability ball, this is one of the first exercises I teach them to do. By adding motion to the upper body, the lower body must act to stabilize while balancing on top of the ball. Start this motion with your weights on top of a bench lying in front of your ball (perpendicular to your body). Once balanced on ball, slowly pick weights off bench and attempt to curl toward shoulders. Start initially with very light weight and low reps. If you have a problem with balance during the lift, use the bench in front of your ball to catch yourself with. For more info curl reference hammer curl in the exercise library.
