Close Grip Med Ball Push Ups



Close grip push-ups are a great compound movement for the chest, shoulders and triceps. By performing the push up on an unstable object, stabilizers of the chest and shoulders will activate much more than a standard push up. Start motion with palms on top of a medicine ball (fingers pointing down), back and legs straight, head position is neutral with upper back. Next, lower your body (elbows out) and touch bottom of chest onto ball. Press and exhale as you perform the push up making sure to fully extend elbows at the top of the motion.
